Die Indiana Fever besiegten die Lynx im 3. WNBA Final Spiel. Shavonte Cellos machte 30 Punkte und erreichte somit einen neuen Rekord ihrer Kariere. Tamina Catchings machte 17 Punkte und Erlana Larkins 10 Punkte und 15 Rebounds fĂĽr die Indiana Feuers.

Sie haben eine 2-1 Führung und können am Sonntag ihren ersten Titel gegen die Dedening Champions gewinnen .

Augustus, Lynx shake Fever 83-71, tie WNBA Finals

The Minnesota Lynx defeat the Indiana Fever, 83-71, in the second game of the WNBA Finals. The series is tied at one game each. Seimone Augustus scored 23 of her 27 points in the second half to help push the Lynx up on the Fever; Maya Moore pitched in 23 points and the defending champion Lynx forced the Fever into 24 turnovers, 15 after halftime. Tamika Catchings led the way as usual with 27 points and eight rebounds, but the Fever's defense faded after a dominant start that forced the Lynx to miss 11 of their first 14 shots.

The series now moves to Indiana. Game 3 is on Friday, and Catchings predicted an even more physical match.

Fever schlagen Lynx in Spiel 1 der WNBA Finalserie mit 76-70

Erlana Larkins führte die Indiana Fever mit 16 Punkten und 15 Rebounds zum Sieg über den amtierenden Champion aus Minnesota beim 76-70 Sieg am Sonntagabend. Hinzu kamen 20 Punkte der stark aufspielenden Tamika Catchings für Indiana, die ohne Topscorerin Katie Douglas spielten, da diese noch an einer Knöchelverletzung aus dem letzten Spiel laboriert.

FĂĽr die Minnesota Lynxs kam Seimone Augustus auf 23 Punkte und Rebekkah Brunson steuerte 10 Punkte und 23 Rebounds bei, um als erstes Team in der WNBA den Titel zu verteidigen. Man musste sich aber letztendlich Indiana geschlagen geben.

Das zweite Spiel der Best-of-Five Serie is am kommenden Mittwoch in Minneapolis.
